Board Members


Becky-WebBecky Dymond,
 M.S. Counseling Psychology, Licensed Mental Health Counselor — Becky received her Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University in May of 2010. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a long-term passion and concern for human trafficking victims. She is Founder & President of Hepzibah House, a non-profit providing services and support for trafficking survivors since 2011, and in the process of opening a safe home and restoration program for survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.


Paula Mantrozos
, BFA in Music from Louisiana Tech University and served in church ministry for 17 years (9 years as music director). For the past 23 years she has served as an administrative assistant at Palm Beach Atlantic University as Secretary to the Dean of the School of Music in Fine Arts. A member of the Christ Fellowship Deaf Ministry interpreting team, Paula has an energetic and committed track record as a Hepzibah House volunteer since 2012. She has overseen and participated in our social media efforts, served as an editor, newsletter contributor and strategic thinker for our efforts in raising awareness and serving survivors. Paula’s organizational skills and behind the scenes support have provided critically needed assistance and encouragement to both survivors and Hepzibah House leadership. She has two grown children and is a devoted Nana to her grandson.


Sharon McAliley
, began her volunteer career with Hospice of the Palm Beaches in the 1970’s, facilitating grief recovery groups and assisting with group follow-up.  She was involved in children’s and adults’ ministries in her church and served on the local church board of education for many years, as well as leading vacation Bible schools and Bible study groups.  She received training in prayer ministry at Christian Healing Ministries in Jacksonville, Florida, and ministered to people regularly at Christian Healing Ministries and in her local church.  Sharon believes wholeheartedly in the power of prayer and the incredible ability and desire of our Heavenly Father to heal.

Brenda Smith, business owner, laboratory technologist, motivational speaker and trafficking survivor. Brenda has been involved in both children’s and adult ministries for many years, facilitating recovery groups, and serving with her husband, Dick, in Re-Engage, a marriage enrichment program. A public speaker since 2008, she regularly shares her testimony throughout the US. Brenda is an advocate for healthy marriages and actively involved in mentoring women as they overcome life challenges. She is now lending her strengths, experiences and skills to Hepzibah House, sharing her story as a survivor, raising awareness of modern day slavery and the importance of a firm foundation in Christ. Her heart is to be an instrument of hope, healing and reconciliation.

Advisory Board

Darren Davis – In 1995, God led Darren out from his life in corporate America and into his true destiny as the Founder and Director of LIGHT International, a ministry which serves to mobilize a global church planting movement that trains and sends out end-time laborers into their God-given purpose. As the visionary for the LIGHT movement, Darren oversees all arms of LIGHT International, which includes the Eleventh Hour Initiative and The Harbour Church. He and his wife, Wendy have been married for 21 years and have three children: Savannah, Jesse and Luke.

Darren provides spiritual leadership and authority and is the designated mediator should there be an unresolvable conflict between board members.

Marie Ferri – Licensed Mental Health Counselor, British Horse Society Instructor, PATH International Instructor (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship, Int.), FEI Level Rider (Federal Equestrian International) — Marie has run college level riding programs, developed and engineered an equestrian center, taught and successfully competed in dressage at the national level, and has worked with therapeutic riding programs for the last ten years. She has extensive experience working with addictions, trauma, Reactive Attachment Disorder, grief and loss utilizing the equestrian sciences.

Marie brings her extensive knowledge and experience with horses, equestrian services and mental health counseling to Hepzibah House as Double H Equestrian Center comes into being. She will serve as President of the Board for Double H.

John Griffey – John Griffey has more than 25 years experience as a security professional. He started his security career in the U.S. Marine Corps protecting U.S. Embassy personnel and property as a Marine Security Guard. He has overseen the management of security operations for US Diplomatic Missions and has conducted quality control inspections and specialized security training throughout the world. John is currently a senior executive in one of the largest publicly traded global security companies and is board certified in security management as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP).

In serving women rescued out of human trafficking and sexual exploitation, security concerns need are of special significance. John brings his extensive skills and experience as a security expert to our work to provide physical safety for both residents and staff.

Katrina Rodriguez, Business Owner, Internet Business Entrepreneur, Motivational Speaker, Trafficking Survivor — Katrina has many years in the beauty industry as a licensed cosmetologist and salon owner/operator. She has also begun a beauty industry search engine internet business. Katrina has been an educator and public speaker for a number of years with major manufacturers and is now lending her public speaking skills to Hepzibah House events sharing her story as a survivor, raising awareness and the importance of rehabilitation services for women coming out of this experience.

Katrina serves as a business woman and a survivor. She often speaks at awareness events and has a unique ability to communicate the significance of timely intervention and services to survivors. Her testimony is both heartbreaking and encouraging as she is living testimony of God’s faithfulness and healing grace.

Paula Thompson is a freelance Financial Accountant, who has been personally and professionally trained by a financial/law major, and has been keeping financial records for law firms and business investors since 1984.  Paula is currently the Vice President/Treasurer of an award winning Landscape Company that has been in business since 1995.  Paula also serves as an Elder at Jacob’s Well church in Boynton Beach, Florida.  Paula has completed over 7 years of theological studies and is the author of Rebuilding for Kingdom Living.  Paula lives in Coconut Creek, Florida.

Volunteers & Consultants

Christina Filis – Social Media Specialist. Currently is also a consultant for Palm Beach Atlantic University.

Robin Hughes – B.S. Elementary Education, Florida Certified Teacher. Robin received her degree from Asbury College in 1979 and has been teaching for over 32 years. She is currently a classroom teacher at Lake Worth Christian School with a passion for curriculum development. She has extensive experience editing documents, letters, curricula for her school faculty and administration and has proofed research papers for students through the graduate level.

Paula Mantrozos – In addition to serving on the HH board, Paula volunteers at events, hosts the weekly prayer meeting and is part of our volunteer training team.

Sharon McAliley – In addition to serving on the HH board, Sharon regularly volunteers at events, is on our prayer and volunteer training teams. She also works with survivors in the safe house planning meals, cooking and shopping.

Francy Nino – Is a consultant for Hepzibah House serving as an Administrative Assistant, maintaining the web page updated and videographer for the main events of Hepzibah House. Francy has over 10 years of experience in Audio & Video Production for churches and non-profit organizations in Palm Beach County.

Cindy Rine – Cindy regularly volunteers at events, is part of our volunteer training team, and is a tireless advocate and net worker spanning social, professional and faith communities.

Lori Schwenk – Office Manager, Financial Account Manager, Treasurer, and Bookkeeper – Lori has experience doing accounting and bookkeeping in a professional setting for four years. Her more recent experience has been in volunteer positions, lending her skills and services to the homeschooling community for the last ten years in Flame Home Education Cooperative. She has managed the books, doing accounts receivable and payable with professional skill and reliability.

Jason Shaben – Graphic Designer, Illustrator – Jason has done design and illustration from business cards and posters to custom logos and children’s story pictures. His work has been featured in businesses and ministries both locally and overseas.

Paula Thompson – In addition to serving on the HH board, Paula consults and helps oversee our financial records and bookkeeping.
